About The Position

The Technical PM will drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), resilience planning, and business continuity alignment. This role involves managing end-to-end DR testing exercises, partnering with various technical and business teams, and overseeing application release and deployment management. The ideal candidate will identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and project risks while ensuring successful outcomes across cloud, web application, and DR initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years in Tech Project Management roles
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity programs
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), resilience planning, and business continuity alignment.
• Manage end-to-end DR testing exercises, including scope definition, stakeholder coordination, runbook preparation, logistics planning, execution oversight, issue remediation, and executive reporting of results and recommendations.
• Partner with application development, infrastructure, cloud engineering, security, and business teams to ensure deployment readiness, environment stability, operational resilience, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Oversee application release and deployment management across multiple environments, leveraging modern DevOps practices, automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud services to ensure reliable and efficient delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and project risks while providing leadership, governance reporting, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful outcomes across cloud, web application, and DR initiatives.
