About The Position

As a Technical Platform Operations Specialist, you will serve as an operational liaison supporting the performance and stability of Viant’s products, including its Demand Side Platform (DSP). You will connect internal teams such as Operations, Ad Operations, Product, and Engineering with external stakeholders and third-party partners. The role owns day-to-day technical operations, leads troubleshooting, and supports campaign and platform stability by identifying root causes, facilitating resolutions, communicating technical findings, and aligning stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, clear in communication, and able to translate customer and business needs into actionable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in ad operations, technical account management, or a related role.
• Familiarity with at least one ad-serving or programmatic advertising platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document complex systems and workflows.
• Ability to adopt and navigate new technologies quickly.
• Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage measurement setup and performance validation.
• Provide and support creative trafficking and quality assurance.
• Translate technical findings into clear and concise communication.
• Assist Legal and Finance with platform account creations.
• Connect internal teams and external partners to resolve technical issues and ensure DSP platform reliability.
• Execute and manage publisher integrations and third-party partner certifications to ensure compliance and system compatibility.
• Provide second-level QA and platform support, ensuring escalated issues are documented and addressed with urgency.
• Drive cross-functional projects that improve platform stability, operational workflows, and campaign execution quality.
• Translate technical findings into actionable feedback for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
