About The Position

As a Technical Platform Operations Specialist, you will serve as an operational liaison supporting the performance and stability of Viant’s products, including its Demand Side Platform (DSP). The role connects internal teams such as Operations, Product, and Engineering with external stakeholders and third-party partners. You will maintain operational continuity through clear communication, technical insight, and urgency in addressing issues and opportunities. You will own day-to-day technical operations, lead troubleshooting, support campaign and platform stability, identify root causes, facilitate resolutions, and align multiple teams. The role also involves translating customer and business needs into actionable solutions and communicating technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in ad operations, technical account management, or a related role.
Familiarity with at least one ad-serving or programmatic advertising platform.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document complex systems and workflows.
Proven ability to adopt and navigate new technologies quickly.
Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript.
Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Manage measurement setup and performance validation.
Provide and support creative trafficking and quality assurance.
Translate technical findings into clear and concise communication.
Assist Legal and Finance with platform account creations.
Connect internal teams, including Ad Operations, Product, and Engineering, with external partners to resolve technical issues and support DSP reliability.
Execute and manage publisher integrations and third-party partner certifications to ensure compliance and system compatibility.
Provide second-level QA and platform support, documenting and addressing escalated issues with urgency.
Drive cross-functional projects that enhance platform stability, operational workflows, and campaign execution quality.
