Trans-Tech is the leading designer and manufacturer of RF and microwave components. This role involves setting up and operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines in the production of the company's products. The Technical Operator will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions to perform production tasks, checking and inspecting operations against predetermined tolerances. The primary duties focus on producing custom ceramic ingots through various processing tasks, which increase in complexity with experience gained through mentorship and on-the-job training. The operator will collaborate with supervisory personnel and engineers to ensure processes are performed correctly, communicating processing parameters, non-standard observations, and measurement results. Key processing operations include Ingot Forming, Ingot Firing, Ingot Diameter Lathing, Ingot Length Lathing, Ingot Inspection, and Ingot Packaging. The operator is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area to minimize contamination, cleaning all equipment and the area before the end of each shift, and reporting any equipment malfunctions or repair needs.
