About The Position
We are looking for a Technical Moderator to support live, in-home camera data collection. This is a hands-on field role involving device setup, Linux-based troubleshooting, and detailed technical reporting while working closely with engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience in field operations or live data collection (hardware/cameras/sensors)
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, terminal commands, and log analysis
- Basic knowledge of Python, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills (cameras, laptops, peripherals)
- Ability to work calmly in live, fast-paced environments
Nice To Haves
- Experience with engineering teams, data quality checks, metadata, or ETL
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and validate cameras and laptops in live field environments
- Perform real-time troubleshooting using Linux/terminal and system logs
- Document and escalate technical issues with logs and performance details
- Support pilot runs and complex live data collection sessions
