About The Position

JLL is seeking a Technical Manager to provide day-to-day oversight and manage data center facilities engineers, including DLP and BMS teams. The role involves monitoring, maintenance, repair, and installation of facility systems such as electrical, mechanical, and fire systems. Responsibilities include managing technical staff, creating and maintaining documentation, preparing reports for management and clients, managing maintenance schedules, ensuring metric achievement for reliability, MTTR, and MTBF, and preparing technical escalation workflows. The Technical Manager will also be involved in plant proposal improvements, drafting Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for incidents, monitoring various operational data, creating HSE reports, and reporting on power, temperature, humidity, incidents, PPM schedules, access logs, ticket logs, and cross-connection tickets. Additionally, the role involves monitoring capacity planning, hiring and training technical engineers and operations teams, disseminating information, coordinating meetings, managing HR IS processes, and coordinating building and facilities certifications with the data center owner's technical team for escalations. This position is based in Cibitung, Indonesia.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Leading section technical staff, including Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Fire System, and Warranty/DLP engineers.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of published documentation such as SOPs, operations manuals, rack diagrams, floorplans, and contact information.
  • Create and prepare weekly and monthly reports for JLL management and the DATA CENTER OWNER OPS.
  • Manage the maintenance schedule for equipment (PPM 52).
  • Ensure Metric Achievement for reliability, MTTR, and MTBF.
  • Prepare and maintain the technical escalation workflow.
  • Oversee plant proposal improvement and modification.
  • Draft RCA for incidents, failures, or asset breakdowns.
  • Monitor and collect data for Daily Activity Reports, Incident Trackers, Fuel consumption records, PM realization reports, SLA trackers, Utility meter reports, and OT system (CMMS and DCIM) data updates.
  • Create HSE weekly and monthly reports.
  • Generate client reports based on periodic intervals (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.), including reports on power racks, temperature and humidity, incidents, PPM schedules, physical access logs, ticket logs, and cross-connection tickets.
  • Monitor capacity planning based on electrical and mechanical thresholds.
  • Manage hiring and training for technical engineers and the operation team.
  • Provide direction to the team and disseminate new information.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings.
  • Manage HR IS processes among the technical team section.
  • Manage Building and Facilities Certifications and coordinate with the DATA CENTER OWNER Technical team for any escalations.
