About The Position

This role involves operating and setting up production machinery, completing processes from start to finish. The specialist will work with technical setups, measure and set up tooling, and interpret blueprints. They will accurately adjust machine settings, maintain specifications, and ensure machinery is clean and in proper working order. Safety procedures and documentation are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Experience in operating and setting up Production Machinery.
Ability to operate and set up multiple machines: 5 axes saws & Robots & CNC routers.
Working with technical set-ups on machines.
Measure and set up tooling.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
Accurately adjust machine setting(s) to complete tasks according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the Machine Operator field.
Set up and calibrate tools from scratch, including drawing profile measuring and calibrating as full 7 tool set.
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces.
Maintain specifications by observing feed rates to density of the stone.
Check machinery for cleanliness and proper working order, making minor adjustments as necessary and making appropriate notifications for repair.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
Ability to observe and make work adjustments to complete projects.
Ability to produce and work with fixtures on the machine.
Ability to follow scheduled job sequence.
Knowledge of math, geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to deal effectively with others.
Ability to analyze and resolve work related problems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CNC operator or machine operator experience.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual preferred.
Knowledge of countertop industry.

Responsibilities
