About The Position

Honor Life Memorials in Kaneohe, Hawaii is seeking a skilled Stone Worker to join their team. This full-time position involves fabricating, engraving, installing, and repairing memorial headstones and monuments. The role requires precision craftsmanship, material handling, and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have experience with stone working tools and a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Experience in stone cutting, engraving, or related trades preferred.
• Proficiency in operating stone-cutting and engraving tools (CNC, sandblasting, hand tools).
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality craftsmanship.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy stone materials.
• Basic knowledge of design software (such as CAD) is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Carve, cut, shape, and engrave memorial headstones and monuments using specialized tools and equipment.
• Transport, install, and maintain stone memorials at cemeteries and designated sites, ensuring proper placement and stability.
• Assist in designing memorials, including inscriptions, artwork, and layout, based on client specifications.
• Work with various stone types such as granite, marble, and other materials, ensuring quality and precision in craftsmanship.
• Provide customer service by discussing project requirements, explaining design options, and ensuring satisfaction with final products.
• Follow workplace safety regulations, maintain tools and machinery, and ensure proper handling of materials.
