About The Position

This role involves the precise fabrication of stone pieces according to project specifications. The fabricator will be responsible for measuring, interpreting blueprints, operating machinery, and ensuring the quality and safety of their work. The position requires attention to detail, proficiency with various tools, and the ability to handle heavy materials safely. Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or related fields involving heavy lifting and materials handling.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining devices for stone processing.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience or familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Measure and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of stone pieces according to project specifications.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery for materials handling and transportation within the workspace.
Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, polish, and finish stone surfaces with precision.
Follow safety protocols by consistently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
Handle heavy materials safely through proper lifting techniques and equipment operation to prevent injury and material damage.
Perform dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools to verify accuracy before assembly or finishing processes.
Maintain a clean workspace by organizing materials, tools, and waste disposal in accordance with safety standards in production environments.
