About The Position
The Wallet, Payments and Commerce team is seeking a motivated, technically curious intern to join the Apple Pay team. The intern will support the Partner Solutions and Technical Project Management team by creating proof-of-concept projects and technical documentation that demonstrate Apple Pay functionality for issuing banks, payment service providers, and merchants. The work includes building sample integrations, testing new features, and documenting best practices to help partners understand and implement Apple Pay solutions. The internship provides an opportunity to learn about the payments ecosystem and contribute to projects that help partners create best-in-class Apple Pay and Wallet experiences. This is a paid internship with employment by Apple and eligibility for Apple benefits. The internship runs until September 2027. The role is based in Apple's London offices and requires three days on site per week. Applicants must submit a cover letter; applications without one will not be considered.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and/or iOS development (Swift).
- Passion for Apple technology and products.
- Eagerness to learn about online payments, merchant integrations, and the payments ecosystem.
- Basic debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Enthusiasm for creating outstanding user experiences.
- Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves
- Personal projects or coursework demonstrating coding abilities.
- Interest in technical writing and creating clear documentation.
- Familiarity with payment technologies or e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of additional languages is desirable.
