About The Position

Mobius is seeking a Technical Intelligence Engineer to provide technical intelligence engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The Intelligence Division serves as a conduit between the Intelligence Community (IC) and MDA for intelligence-based technical information, coordinates MDA requirements with responsible IC entities, and supports threat development, testing, modeling and simulation, and complex developmental and operational programs. The role involves engineering and scientific support for systems, interfaces, components, devices, and processes, including engineering data related to foreign threat systems and their integration into the MDA Threat Characterization Process. Full-time technical Intelligence Engineering support occurs in HSV, COS, and the NCR. The engineer may provide liaison and technical data support, translate MDA test requirements into IC Production Requests, and coordinate with MDA organizations, the Ballistic Missile Defense System Operational Test Agency Team, and Intelligence Production Centers. The role also supports Joint Threat Modeling Program initiatives and meetings; manages SharePoint content across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks; and facilitates technical interchange meetings, conferences, symposia, and interagency working groups. The engineer works independently, as a team member, or as a team/task lead, and implements systems engineering V-processes across program acquisition life cycles.

Requirements

6–10 years of experience relevant to intelligence data engineering.
Familiarity with tools and methods for building threat models.
Knowledge of kinematic, IR plume, and/or IR hardbody signature modeling.
Experience using, building, or managing databases.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a STEM field.
Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide liaison to the MDA IC, Missile Defense Data Center, and external agencies to produce and obtain technical data, briefings, reports, and assessments.
Translate MDA testing requirements into IC Production Requests and define intended-use requirements so IC threat-system information supports development of threat models for MDA tests.
Interface with MDA organizations, the Ballistic Missile Defense System Operational Test Agency Team, and Intelligence Production Centers, including NASIC, MSIC, ONI, and NGIC, to create MDA Production Requests for testing activities.
Support Joint Threat Modeling Program initiatives to develop efficient, consistent processes and technical solutions for obtaining IPC-validated threat models for MDA events and exercises.
Support Joint Threat Modeling Program meeting planning, execution, and management, including agenda development, after-action reports, action items, IPC-specific Line of Effort status tracking, and distribution of documentation and data.
Manage SharePoint content on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks, including user permissions, notifications, site management, application pages, preferences, and user functionality.
Organize and update site information, task and track actions, upload documents, and notify users of uploads.
Support technical interchange meetings with IC members, the MDS Operational Test Agency Team, and MDA personnel.
Facilitate, participate in, and report on meetings, conferences, symposia, and MDA and interagency working groups.
Execute engineering and scientific support for systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices, and processes for complex developmental and operational weapon-system programs.
Work independently, as a team member, or as a team/task lead to solve engineering and scientific problems.
Implement systems engineering V-processes across a program's acquisition life cycle.
