About The Position

This role serves as a technical subject matter expert for the CardPointe gateway, supporting ISV partners and integrators in the production environment. The position requires deep understanding of CardPointe products, APIs, and integration patterns, along with awareness of the broader business, operational, and support ecosystem. The role partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to consult on technical design, support live integrations, and troubleshoot production issues through resolution.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Payments Processing (spanning merchant, back-end, and gateway) or in specific API Integration roles.
  • A strong background in technical integrations, specifically supporting Developers and ISVs.
  • Hands-on experience working with payment gateway APIs and a deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS, or a demonstrated ability to learn new technical languages quickly.
  • Proficiency in logging, tracking, and managing escalations in Jira, along with experience creating and maintaining technical documentation in Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or comparable CRM/case-management platforms) and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • As this is a new team, you must be a critical thinker who is innovative with workflows and ready to help establish and standardize team processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as a key member of a cross‑functional team, adapting effectively to changing priorities while driving results.
  • Act as the primary lead for the delivery and execution of complex CardPointe integrations and production initiatives.
  • Serve as a technical expert on CardPointe integrations, products, and services for internal teams and external partners.
  • Consult with stakeholders on technical design, integration approaches, and production readiness.
  • Function as a liaison between development, infrastructure, support, and business teams to meet project and client needs.
  • Participate in client, team, and stakeholder meetings to set expectations, encourage collaboration, and communicate status and outcomes.
  • Partner with client implementation teams to coordinate integration execution, transition solutions into production, and ensure timely, successful delivery.
  • Own and manage client production issues end‑to‑end, including troubleshooting, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support production testing, and critical production issues, which may require after‑hours or weekend support as needed.
