About The Position

As part of an aseptic and Extended Shelf Life (ESL) beverage manufacturing facility, the Technical Integration Specialist will be critical to customer and operational success as part of the team that ensures successful commercialization and integration of new business and maintenance of existing business. Activities will include leading the commercialization for new customer products, plant trials, specification writing, and shelf-life testing, while working closely with the laboratory, customer R&D and quality teams, and operations. Work will also include special projects requested by customers and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to understand business processes and transform them into system needs.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, including effectively conveying technical concepts to others, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to conduct activities with internal and external teams.
  • Proficient in problem-solving methodologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong project management/organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform or data management preferred.
  • Beverage experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for facilitating and overseeing product trials/qualifications and sample requests, including comprehensive planning, internal and external communication, and thorough documentation.
  • Evaluate data and insights from development through commercialization to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prepare both in-house and on-site customer presentations related to Technical Integration and Commercialization.
  • Lead cross-functional commercialization meetings and workshops with stakeholders across internal and external teams.
  • Maintain complete and current records of ingredient specifications, process parameters, customer formulas, finished goods documentation, and project timelines.
  • Prepare and manage technical reports, product specifications, and regulatory documents as required.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support technical transfer and scale-up initiatives.
  • Collect relevant data and information from multiple departments.
  • Conduct shelf-life testing, blending, processing, and packaging studies as necessary.
  • Coordinate and oversee testing requirements with cross-functional teams.
  • Support new ingredients and packaging evaluations, setups, and approval processes.
  • Develop product formula calculators and other supporting tools.
  • Participate in food safety reviews when needed.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting assistance for teams regarding product specifications, formulas, or customer-related information.
  • Provide support to Supply Chain and Quality during new material or packaging approval processes.
  • Lead communications with Process Authority concerning Filings and POLs
  • Coordinate label approvals with regulatory authorities
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Adhere to Food Safety Requirements and Standards as applicable.
