About The Position

The Technical Sales Representative functions as a strategic liaison between customer-facing operations and core business units, using technical expertise and independent judgment to shape solutions that impact product positioning, service delivery, and customer retention strategies. This role plays a key part in evaluating customer data and operational trends, advising internal leadership, and implementing service and support strategies that enhance organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, scientific, or business discipline preferred
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in technical support, business operations, or customer experience leadership
  • Proven ability to influence business decisions through data interpretation, trend analysis, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, independent judgment, and ownership over policy-driven decisions
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead root cause analysis initiatives and drive technical resolution strategies that influence internal quality assurance and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Analyze complex customer inquiries and product trends to recommend improvements in product design, support procedures, and fulfillment workflows
  • Serve as an internal technical advisor to sales, engineering, product management, and marketing teams, contributing insights that shape product roadmaps and service innovation
  • Develop and implement policies, workflows, and service standards based on customer experience data and technical performance trends
  • Provide strategic recommendations and reporting on customer issues, warranty concerns, and product trends to senior leadership and product teams
  • Collaborate on and lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving product reliability, customer experience, and operational efficiency
  • Guide internal teams in addressing customer issues by interpreting company policies and applying discretion in how policies are applied to unique, high-impact cases
  • Create and deliver training and documentation for both customers and internal teams related to evolving technical solutions and support processes
