Requirements

  • Experience with or knowledge of rule processing engines
  • Demonstrated ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and persuasive manner
  • Strong relationship-building skills across both business and technical disciplines
  • A track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with RESTful web services, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Solid knowledge of web service standards, including XML and JSON, as well as industry security standards covering authentication and authorization
  • Database proficiency, including query development and experience with reporting tools, combined with familiarity with change management processes and version control software
  • Architect, systems analyst, or developer background with broad experience across a range of technologies, preferably within a life insurance environment
  • A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and integration: Architect and design integration blueprints for MagnumXP client deployments, ensuring seamless fit within clients' existing IT environments across the Americas
  • Drive pre-sales engagement: Deliver compelling pre-sales presentations and provide technical support of the MagnumXP solution to technical audiences, helping prospective clients understand its full potential
  • Collaborate across stakeholders: Liaise with clients' in-house IT staff, system integrators, and business partners to plan and identify optimal integration options
  • Define and document requirements: Develop clear business and non-functional requirements, and raise well-structured change requests to Product Management
  • Support the full implementation lifecycle: Support clients throughout initial installation, integration, and testing and all the way through to production go-live
  • Champion best practices: Consult with clients on system integration testing best practices, ensuring robust and reliable deployments
  • Coordinate global software releases: Work with MagnumXP colleagues and global development teams to align client software releases, specify and review requirements for core system changes, and validate new releases
  • Provide technical support: Serve as one of the key regional resource for handling service issues and change requests with efficiency and care
  • Enable client success through training: Deliver required API training to clients on the effective use of MagnumXP software
  • Travel as needed: Engage in periodic on-site work at client offices across North America, with occasional international travel to collaborate with global MagnumXP colleagues

Benefits

  • The estimated base salary range for this position for Armonk, NY is between $161,000 to $269,000 and for Fort Wayne, IN and Kansas City, MO, the range is between $150,000 to $250,000.
