General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead delivery execution for a major FDA modernization initiative. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality, on-time delivery in a complex Agile environment and for driving predictable delivery, team performance, and solutions that meet quality, timeliness, and mission-value standards. This is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office at the GDIT Gaithersburg office and FDA Silver Spring campus. The position develops and maintains product roadmaps; supports customer meetings, sprint reviews, demonstrations, and planning sessions; presents delivery metrics; validates deliverables; guides functional analysis, requirements definition, documentation, and testing; and proactively manages risks and issues. The manager helps teams adopt innovative practices, tools, and AI-enabled approaches, leads transformation and continuous improvement, and ensures IT capabilities remain aligned with evolving business needs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 12 or more years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; current or recent experience leading development projects at the FDA; an active PMI PMP certification; and experience in a SAFe Agile environment. The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. The likely salary range is $142,792–$178,250, with compensation based on experience, location, and potentially contractual requirements.
