About The Position

As a Technical Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Technician team on 2nd shift. You will be looked to for thinking outside the box to rectify existing equipment misgivings. Ensure your technician team can perform difficult, complex, and sometimes complicated technical maintenance duties to overhaul production machines, industrial machinery, commercial printers, and electrical/electronic equipment. Follow up to assure satisfactory completion on any work ticket that was escalated in production.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
• 3+ years of progressive maintenance supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics or equivalent Military training and background
• 5+ years of production maintenance supervisory with printer repair experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure cost savings initiatives are occurring to reduce the amount of liability regarding parts costs.
• Monitor technician floor activity and work with technical staff to improve their skills, help them get equipment up quickly, train the technicians in all areas.
• Attend meetings with operation, venders or management that deal with special projects, issues or operational changes that may need to be done.
• Ensure all safety protocols are always followed by everyone.
• Create reports, track Information and other documents as needed by management or operations.
• Travel between facilities as needed for coverage and support.
