About The Position

Fiserv is a global leader in Fintech and payments, connecting financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers. The company is involved in millions of daily transactions, including credit card swipes, mobile app payments, and ATM withdrawals. The Technical Engineering Supervisor role is responsible for leading the Technician team on the 2nd shift. This position requires innovative thinking to address existing equipment issues and ensuring the technician team is capable of performing difficult, complex, and sometimes complicated technical maintenance duties. These duties include overhauling production machines, industrial machinery, commercial printers, and electrical/electronic equipment. The supervisor is also expected to follow up on escalated work tickets to ensure their satisfactory completion.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
• 3+ years of progressive maintenance supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics or equivalent Military training and background
• 5+ years of production maintenance supervisory with printer repair experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure cost savings initiatives are occurring to reduce the amount of liability regarding parts costs.
• Monitor technician floor activity and work with technical staff to improve their skills, help them get equipment up quickly, train the technicians in all areas.
• Attend meetings with operation, venders or management that deal with special projects, issues or operational changes that may need to be done.
• Ensure all safety protocols are always followed by everyone.
• Create reports, track Information and other documents as needed by management or operations.
• Travel between facilities as needed for coverage and support.
