About The Position

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence expert to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your industry knowledge to design, develop, and execute solutions within foreign languages in support of intelligence organizations. We’re seeking your advanced advisory skills to join our team to help deliver creative solutions to complex problems. As a technical editor, you'll be analyzing and evaluating products, ensuring administrative and production requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, policy, strategy, doctrine, and operating environments are met. Review intelligence products to ensure compliance with tradecraft, grammar, and style standards, editing or reorganizing content as needed. Ensuring consistency in logic, development, and organization. Work with authors to suggest improvements to their products. You’ll be a trusted advisor and share knowledge and findings, including the development and mentoring of others on technical analysis and discovery tradecraft, combined specialized technical training, client operational tradecraft, open-source research, and technical tradecraft that drive change. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in editing and written document production
  • 3+ years of experience with intelligence production
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail in document production and tracking workflow
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with defense tradecraft standards
  • Knowledge of foundational military intelligence and military capabilities
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Area Studies, or Communications

Responsibilities
