Technical Director/Master Control Operator
About The Position
NPG/KQ2 in St. Joseph, MO is seeking a full-time Technical Director to join our Operations Department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to be challenged and work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to direct our live weekday newscasts (5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, 9pm and 10pm Newscasts). Pre-production includes recording News Teases and Interview segments. Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Operations Manager. Television is fast paced and always changing; we are looking for someone who is adaptable to new technologies, tasks, and workflows. You should possess basic computer skills as well as be good at trouble shooting problems. Having reliable transportation and being dependable is an absolute must for this position.
