Operate and monitor broadcast automation/master control systems to ensure accurate, uninterrupted on-air playback for syndication and live programming, including newscasts. Execute scheduled programming, commercials, and promos while maintaining required operational/FCC logs. Troubleshoot on-air issues in real time and coordinate with engineering/production to resolve problems quickly. A television Master Control Operator will be trained to operate various audio/video equipment, must be knowledgeable in using Windows-based computer operating systems, will be expected to follow logs, write detailed deviations, use our email system daily & work cooperatively with others. The operator is responsible for the transmission of television programming to the public. You control what our viewers see!
