Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor broadcast automation/master control systems to ensure accurate, uninterrupted on-air playback for syndication and live programming, including newscasts.
- Execute scheduled programming, commercials, and promos while maintaining required operational/FCC logs.
- Troubleshoot on-air issues in real time and coordinate with engineering/production to resolve problems quickly.
- Operate various audio/video equipment.
- Follow logs, write detailed deviations, and use the email system daily.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Responsible for the transmission of television programming to the public.
