About The Position

The Technical Designer will support a full contemporary women's denim collection, helping take garments from prototype through production approval. The role works closely with the Creative Director, Product Developer, and Production Manager to achieve the intended fit and construction. This is an in-office role Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least two years of denim technical design experience.
• Solid understanding of garment construction and the ability to communicate it through technical drawings, specifications, and fit comments.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong organizational skills.
• An eye for the brand’s aesthetic and an understanding of how fit and construction choices support the design.
• Clear communication, a collaborative approach, and initiative to solve unfamiliar problems and adapt as priorities change.
• Positive attitude and a team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain garment tech packs, including technical drawings, measurements, and construction details for samples and prototypes.
• Attend weekly fittings and translate feedback into clear fit comments and updated specifications.
• Work with creative, product development, and production teams to resolve fit and construction issues before styles are approved.
• Deliver complete tech packs and fit comments on schedule, keeping handoffs on track when priorities shift or last-minute changes arise.
