About The Position

This individual contributor is responsible for executing the technical design process from development through final fit. The role analyzes and evaluates garments to develop appropriate fit specifications and ensures products meet established fit quality standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications. The Technical Designer develops technical specifications and communicates fit requirements to vendors and factories for approvals and corrections. The role makes adjustments with factories as needed to maintain the integrity of approved design prototypes while monitoring quality and target price. The position typically reports to the Technical Services Manager and typically directs Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical design with intimates/apparel.
