About The Position

This role supports quotation and new product development activities by reviewing customer technical requirements and product specifications. It involves coordinating sample requests, product trials, and technical evaluations with internal teams and suppliers. The position also assists in evaluating product performance, recommending technical improvements, and maintaining product specifications and technical documentation. Additionally, it supports quality investigations, participates in product inspections and validation activities, assists with root cause analysis and corrective actions, reviews quality trends, and supports documentation for quality management systems and food safety programs. The role also involves working closely with production teams to understand manufacturing processes, participating in production trials and process improvement initiatives, assisting in resolving technical issues, and coordinating communication between manufacturing and technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 0–3 years of manufacturing, packaging or quality experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Korean is an added value.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Support quotation and new product development activities by reviewing customer technical requirements and product specifications.
  • Coordinate sample requests, product trials, and technical evaluations with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Assist in evaluating product performance and recommending technical improvements.
  • Maintain product specifications and technical documentation throughout the development process.
  • Support quality investigations related to customer complaints, supplier issues, and internal non-conformances.
  • Participate in product inspections, validation activities, and technical evaluations.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
  • Review quality trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support documentation required for quality management systems and food safety programs.
  • Work closely with production teams to understand printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch converting processes.
  • Participate in production trials and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues affecting manufacturing performance or product quality.
  • Coordinate communication between manufacturing and technical teams during development projects.
  • Attend required safety training sessions.
  • Report accidents and near misses in a timely fashion.
  • Report any safety concerns to a designated safety team leader.
  • Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
  • Follow Flair’s work safety rules, policies and procedures.
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to the responsible person(s).
  • Understand the Food Safety Policy, GMP’s, HACCP Principle and Food Safety Standard.
