About The Position

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Technical Coordinator serves as a key liaison between Customer Service, Engineering, and manufacturing sites, providing technical support throughout the customer inquiry and product lifecycle process. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of technical data within ERP and PLM systems, managing part creation activities, reviewing customer specifications and drawings, coordinating quotation requests, and supporting customer accounts from an engineering perspective. The position requires a strong understanding of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions' products, manufacturing capabilities, engineering documentation, and internal processes to ensure accurate, timely, and professional support to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
Detailed knowledge of TSS Products
Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
Operational knowledge of latest CAD systems (NX, Catia)
Microsoft Office application experience

Responsibilities

Responsible for upkeep of all technical information in ERP system up to date
Enter in new part information in ERP and PLM
Complete new part creation activities
Support Customer Support team members by answering questions related to part information, drawing revision levels, sales history, etc.
Complete FAIR reviews
Manage customer accounts from the engineering perspective for MRO and distribution centers
Assist with sales history data processes
Material Specification Reviews
Update and Maintain latest issue control of customer drawings using internal programs
Create CAD drawings to support Technical Proposals
Complete RFQ requests to the appropriate manufacturing sites
Any other duties as reasonably required
