About The Position

E-logic is seeking a Technical Consultant III to provide critical, remote infrastructure and system engineering support for the Indian Health Service (IHS). In this role, you will manage, troubleshoot, and maintain the hardware environment for VistA Imaging --an FDA-certified medical device system deployed across 223 healthcare sites nationwide. Your work directly ensures the stability of digital imaging and electronic health records utilized in patient care.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience of 4 to 5 years of general IT experience, with at least 4 years specialized in the overall engineering of network systems.
• Familiarity with Windows Servers, enterprise storage, backup systems (Symantec Backup Exec), or related medical imaging environments (NetApp SG, 3PAR, ASTI) is highly preferred.
• Selected candidates will be included in the proposal and must authorize the use of their resume for submission.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated subject matter expert resolving hardware, software, and network configuration tickets for VistA Imaging and RPMS environments.
• Perform remote security patching, firmware deployments, and OS updates (Windows Server environments) using iLO/VPN tools.
• Coordinate within a 2-hour window with vendors like Hewlett-Packard (HP) CSC and Tier 2 storage providers (NetApp, ASTI) to resolve warranty issues.
• Help manage an online 24/7 inventory asset portal and compile data for monthly ticket resolution reports.
• Provide support during standard operating hours (Mon-Fri, 0900-1800 ET) and participate in a rotation for emergency after-hours coverage.
