About The Position

Nightwing is seeking a Part-time (PT) Technical Collections and Communications (TCC) Field Service Representative to support a DoD contract. This role involves providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCOM efforts in the SOCCENT AOR. Responsibilities include equipment installation, system configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, problem identification, and report writing. The position requires overseas travel, with a schedule of 90 days on and 90 days off in the SOCCENT/CENTCOM AOR. This is an OCONUS PT position.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance / SCI
  • Retired or former Special Operations soldier
  • 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity.
  • Recent combat experience.
  • Experience with technical information collection equipment to support current SOCCENT/CENTCOM objectives.
  • Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: Osprey, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Printability
  • Must be able to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other technical products.
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
  • Must be able to carry a 35-pound load with no assistance.
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and advise senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities, and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) for utilizing Tactical Advanced Sensors (TAS) equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for employing TAS devices based on equipment capabilities and other critical factors.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in testing and installing audio and video server applications.
  • Coordinate with NW headquarters for specialized program support.
  • Provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new equipment and integration efforts.
  • Conduct research and develop best practices.
