About The Position

Sev1Tech is searching for a Technical Change Documentation Specialist. The Technical Change Documentation Specialist will support the implementation, operation, and improvement of meshONE-Terrestrial (T), a scalable, resilient, cyber-secure data transport network supporting United States Space Force (USSF) and Air Force (USAF) missions. meshONE-T is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end-to-end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related job experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other similar degree; without a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years’ experience will be required
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn about engineering documentation, such as Rack Layout Drawings, Room Layout Drawings, Interconnect Diagrams, Topology Diagrams and Hardware/Software Lists
• Familiarity with and/or willingness to research and understand ASME Y standards
• Strong oral and written skills able to talk with technical subject matter experts, government civilians, and military personnel of varying rank
• Excellence in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc)
• Ability to quickly learn new software applications

• Applicable experience using engineering documentation software
• Prior military experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engineering documents for the meshONE-T program
• Coordinate with Service Design team to verify accuracy of design content
• Coordinate with Configuration Management team to confirm change approval
• Export content from Cameo and prepare the document using the ASME Y standardized format for publishing and delivery to the customer
• Format and export LUCID drawings into ASME Y standardized drawings for publishing and delivery
• Create and maintain a Drawing Tree in accordance with ASME Y standards
• Import and store developed drawings onto SharePoint working folders
