About The Position

ICF is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic and innovative team within the Centralized Ops, Analytics & Technology group. This role supports tasks within the software development cycle, focusing on system data and business intelligence. The IT Business Analyst will support project delivery in the energy efficiency and utility sectors, collaborating with subject matter experts for project execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting business analysis, IT systems, or software development projects.
  • Experience gathering requirements and creating documentation such as use cases, process flows, and requirements specifications.
  • Experience testing software, tracking issues, and collaborating with developers to ensure requirements are met.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment and to coordinate amongst diverse program stakeholders.
  • Experience with testing software, tracking issues, and working with developers to ensure that requirements are being met.
  • Experience with content management systems, including user roles, configuration, and content editing.
  • Ability to write basic HTML and SQL.
  • Experience in Data Integration.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools like Cognos, Microsoft Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Project, Change, Configuration and Release management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Bot and Third-Party Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools.
  • Work with stakeholders of IT systems to define system requirements and design approach.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with team members regarding task status, including presenting during status update meetings.
  • Develop an understanding of client processes and procedures and assist with making improvements relative to technology.
  • Work with a team of senior technologists to deliver solutions for clients.
  • Support users through training and provide one-on-one technical assistance.
