About The Position

The Portfolio Pricing and Valuations team is part of Operations & Middle Office. The expanding team is focused on designing, implementing and operating the next-generation firm-wide pricing, risk and PnL platform for derivative products across rates, credit, FX and mortgages.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree or equivalent qualification in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics or Physics, with at least four years of relevant professional experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of fixed income, credit, FX or equity derivatives products and associated risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage development teams and users at a detailed level and provide executive-level updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach, thorough execution and strong ownership of work, combined with an appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Collaborative mindset and a strong willingness to contribute and support others.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or a similar programming language.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with technology, quantitative and market data teams to gather, analyze and document business requirements in Confluence and technical requirements in JIRA.
  • Conduct project-level integration analysis to support the successful delivery of individual initiatives.
  • Develop and lead project plans, timelines and milestones, tracking progress and accountability against key deliverables.
  • Facilitate collaboration across quantitative, technology and trading teams to drive effective project execution.
  • Provide stakeholders with clear, consistent updates on project progress, risks and outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce project governance, including creating and leading cross-functional working groups as needed.
  • Manage the inventory and prioritization of initiatives and system and workflow enhancements.
