About The Position

The Technical Baseline Manager will be responsible for analyzing, architecting, engineering, integrating, testing, and deploying next-generation resilient Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) systems. This role involves developing, integrating, and managing Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products. The position also requires providing technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design, and test issues to inform major program decisions. Additionally, the role entails performing systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification, as well as analyzing problems, developing technical reports, making recommendations, and collaborating with government and corporate stakeholders for solution implementation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working on large-scale space systems engineering, integration, and development programs.
  • 2+ years of experience performing and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectural designs, and integration and test plans.
  • Experience leading requirements and interface management efforts for a major program.
  • Experience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering review.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWS.
  • Experience with satellite Command and Control (C2) architecture and development.
  • Experience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines.
  • Experience creating and managing Jira tickets or Confluence pages.
  • Experience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS NextGen.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS.
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification.
