About The Position

The Technical Associate II, Biobanking/Tissue Engineering will provide key technical support for biobanking cells from patient biopsies, cell and organoid culture, and laboratory assay activities. This role supports the endometriosis research team and a newly awarded NIH center grant focused on novel approach methodologies (NAMs) for Women’s Health. Responsibilities include the collection, processing (cell isolation), organization, tracking, storage, and use of human biospecimens and associated research workflows for studies of endometriosis and other gynecologic disorders, with potential interaction with clinical teams. The role will also support the development and application of patient-informed in vitro microphysiological systems and contribute to laboratory activities involving cell culture, 3D culture including organoids, ELISA, immunostaining, confocal microscopy, image analysis, and related assays.
