About The Position

Hendall is seeking a Technical Architect to support ongoing Federal enterprise-level system and data modernization efforts. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership, have experience developing and delivering technological solutions to meet business needs and an ability to work and collaborate across other teams or stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Ten (10) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems, Solutions.
  • Experience performing Systems Design Architecture related work on at least five (5) IT systems.

Nice To Haves

  • At least four (10) years of experience developing application, development, network, and technical architectures for mid-range client/server and Cloud applications.
  • Ability to convey technical information to business stakeholders and to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute architecture strategies and to perform feasibility studies and integration analyses.
  • Experience supervising and providing guidance in implementing various mid-range architectures and supporting implementation of large-scale applications.
  • Experience with innovation and ideation methods, such as design thinking is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team in developing application, development, network, and technical architectures for mid-range client/server and Cloud, applications.
  • Gather and define architecture requirements and ensure that the architecture is compatible and in compliance with the appropriate IT organization and project standards.
  • Provide demonstrations based on Client's requirements.
  • Prepare sustainable functional and technical specifications, implementation plans, and support documentation by collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Monitor and collect data on system behaviors and performances within structured and unstructured content processes and applications for continuous improvement.
  • Design and develop new applications, forms, reports, and workflows.
  • Coordinate communications, issue resolution, implementation and testing plans, training plans and successful transition to support and maintenance teams of architecture and operations activities.
  • Lead configuration, migration and system maintenance for projects of various scopes and sizes.
  • Demonstrate excellent writing and oral communications skills.
