Primary responsibilities will include materials testing, production, formulation, and testing of asphalt emulsions, and the evaluation of asphalt mixtures. We are looking for a high-energy individual with the qualifications listed below.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of laboratory experience required
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Occasional travel, less than 10%, to industry events and customer job sites
  • Intuitive problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strength to safely handle 50 lb. buckets of materials
  • Team player mentality and the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other science-related discipline is preferred.
  • Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to conduct evaluations, maximize results, and develop innovative solutions to meet our customers’ needs.
  • Ensure that testing is completed according to industry and internal standards.
  • Provide technical assistance from concept to customer acceptance.
  • Optimize emulsion and mixture formulations.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to assist with the development of new products.
  • Apply scientific knowledge to accurately interpret data, which will influence product development and technical solutions from concept to customer acceptance.
  • Effectively communicate results to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Support industry initiatives.
