About The Position

The primary purpose of the Pavement Preservation Administrative Assistant is to provide support through administrative and clerical duties. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Well established organizational skills with strong attention to detail, record-keeping skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Notary Public Commission , or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work in a team environment with production personnel, as well as the ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Ability to work closely with customers and outside vendors on a regular basis
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to perform work which requires frequent and regular movement of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Ability to perform primarily sedentary work, yet occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force
  • Ability to see, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiting manual dexterity
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including a computer, copier, fax, phone and other similar office equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a construction, manufacturing, or production related industry
  • Knowledge and experience in inventory and billing systems

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to our Fayetteville, PA office location.
  • Manages and submits job bids.
  • Keeps, maintains, and orders inventory for office supplies.
  • Performs data entry of material tickets to support business processes using company software systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Receives incoming mail, communications, emails, and phone calls, handling when appropriate or distributing to the proper recipient when not
  • Assists customers and corporate accounting with billing and invoice inquiries and process payments as needed
  • Work closely with Human Resources, Estimating, Project Engineering and Safety, to support business needs.
  • Provides administrative support for location events and meetings, such as ordering food and supplies.
  • Supports the uniform program by ordering or cancelling employee uniforms.
  • Other projects and responsibilities as deemed necessary for business
