About The Position

We are seeking a data-focused Technical Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing, analyzing, testing, and optimizing data formats to ensure seamless compatibility and high performance across our platforms. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in our Phoenix, AZ office. Candidates must have prior experience working within a healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with healthcare-related systems as a business/systems analyst or programmer.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
  • Experience with data analysis, extraction, integration, and reporting using tools like Tableau, Microsoft BI Suite, XML, JSON, and foundational Hadoop (PIG, HIVE, Spark).
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data management/integration, and extract/analysis reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in data analysis, management, integration, and enterprise reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience working in corporate, enterprise-level systems.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with key stakeholders to capture business needs, validate requirements, and solution features prior to the build phase.
  • Translate business demands into clear technical deliverables.
  • Complete Source-to-Target mappings, build, support, and maintain data processes.
  • Utilize tools across the Microsoft BI Suite, Tableau, XML, JSON, and Hadoop environments (including reading data via PIG, HIVE, and Spark).
  • Learn and document complex business and system data flows.
  • Assess impact across surrounding systems.
  • Write detailed impact assessments with effort estimations.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners (POs) on cross-team dependencies.
  • Assist with user story creation.
  • Resolve timeline conflicts.
  • Design appropriate security controls into every solution to ensure systems, networks, and data remain uncompromised.
  • Participate in corporate quality and data governance initiatives.
  • Research, track, and resolve highly complex production problems.
  • Partner with IT Infrastructure to implement effective production monitoring.
  • Create ad-hoc reports for internal and external use.
  • Participate in or lead large-scoped projects.
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Create detailed project schedules based on business prioritization.
