About The Position

The National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) Division of the Leidos Enterprise Transportation Business Area currently has an opening for a Technical Analyst. This position will be part of a dynamic team working to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Oklahoma City at their Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center location. Academy Office Automation Support. The contractor must provide Office Automation expertise to the Air Traffic Division Academy. The Contractor must maintain support of systems, application software, and solutions. Application platforms must include standalone desktop workstations, network client/server, and internet/intranet in a single/multiuser environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams and other project tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to map business processes, prepare documentation, and perform analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of data quality and data management practices and techniques.
  • Understanding of relational databases and ability to query datasets.
  • Familiar with the Federal Aviation Administration organizational structure and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first line of contact with external customers via telephone or in person; refer customers to appropriate staff.
  • Serve as point of contact for FAA instructors, Staff, Department Managers and personnel.
  • Provide IT/Help desk support for Instructors, staff and students. Documenting trouble calls in an automated logbook, referring technical issues to the appropriate personnel including answering the phone and assigning calls.
  • Maintain office voicemail, clean all voicemail messages regularly.
  • Provide support in the form of scanning student’s records for Terminal, Tower, EnRoute, TSEW, and other classes. Maintain student’s scan records log.
  • Transport student’s scanned records to storage area located in Air Traffic Building, room 110.
  • Update electronic door locks.
  • Clean and maintain scanners (and other office equipment). Contact appropriate personnel for repairs.
  • Maintain the office supply inventory; order and pick up supplies as approved by the FAA Manager.
  • Report broken and damage classroom chairs and other furniture to appropriate maintenance personnel so items may be repaired or replaced.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of significant operations problems.
  • Assist periodically with special projects and tasks as needed.
