Technical Advisor & Customer Sales Support
About The Position
PRW Power is seeking a passionate automotive enthusiast to join their team as a Technical Advisor & Customer Sales Support Representative. This role involves assisting consumers, engine builders, performance shops, and distributors in selecting the correct parts for their projects while representing the PRW brand within the performance automotive industry. The position is not a call center job and requires an individual excited about technical specifications and automotive builds. The typical workload includes handling 15-20 technical support emails and 5-10 technical support phone calls per day.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Domestic V-8 engines
- Solid knowledge of Classic American muscle cars
- Solid knowledge of Modern muscle and performance vehicles
- Solid knowledge of Flexplates, crankshaft flanges, and torque converter relationships
- Solid knowledge of Engine valvetrain systems
- Solid knowledge of Roller rocker arms and aftermarket valvetrain components
- Solid knowledge of Performance engine building fundamentals
- Solid knowledge of Product compatibility and troubleshooting
- Experience reading engineering drawings is a plus
- Lives and breathes cars
- Has built, modified, tuned, or worked on performance vehicles
- Gets excited talking about horsepower and torque
- Understands both classic muscle and today's modern performance platforms
- Enjoys helping people solve problems
- Is friendly, professional, and easy to talk to
- Has common sense and knows how to solve common problems
