About The Position

As a member of Apple’s Technical Accounting team, partner closely with finance and business teams to provide accounting guidance that helps drive the business forward. Advise on a broad range of business issues and continually improve financial and operational processes. The role supports Apple’s financial health and growth.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive experience, including people management experience.
• Experience at a Big Four accounting firm and in a technical accounting department.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• CPA or equivalent.
• Ability to perform technical research on complex accounting matters.
• Strong documentation skills, including clear, concise, detailed, and accurate writing.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and articulate expert opinions at all levels.
• Ability to build relationships and work directly with senior executives.

Nice To Haves

• 11 or more years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or large public companies, preferably focused on the technology industry.
• U.S. GAAP technical research and analysis experience across a broad range of accounting topics, including leases, fixed assets, software development costs, and contingencies.
• IFRS experience.
