Taylor Corporation is looking for a Technical Accounting & Internal Audit Manager in our corporate office based in North Mankato, MN! Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting
• 6+ years’ experience in general accounting, financial reporting, internal audit, or external audit
• Public accounting or similar experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to leadership

Responsibilities

• Serve as the U.S. GAAP subject‑matter expert, providing guidance on complex transactions and leading the preparation and review of technical accounting documentation.
• Oversee implementation of new accounting standards and ensure consistent adoption across business units.
• Coordinate and oversee all activities related to the annual audit.
• Lead operational audit engagements, including, control testing, process walkthroughs, and documentation.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as COSO and with processes related to internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Manage and mentor a team by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
