About The Position

Uprite is seeking a Technical Account Manager to manage the day-to-day success of a defined book of client accounts. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will be the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their technology environment and ensuring it aligns with their business operations. You should be technically proficient in infrastructure and security, and comfortable translating technical knowledge into trusted business plans for clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in an MSP or IT services environment with hands-on technical experience.
  • Proven experience owning client or account relationships, including running meetings, managing expectations, and handling issues calmly.
  • Comfort discussing budgets, risk, and priorities with business owners and leadership.
  • Sales instincts: ability to spot opportunities, build proposals, and close deals, or a strong desire to develop these skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior sales engineering experience.
  • A track record of growing revenue within an existing account base.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of Uprite clients.
  • Run recurring client meetings and Business Technology Reviews, translating technical information into plain-language recommendations.
  • Build and maintain technology roadmaps and budgets aligned with client business goals.
  • Identify and propose solutions to reduce client risk and improve operations, then collaborate with the project team for delivery.
  • Manage the sales pipeline for assigned accounts in ConnectWise Manage.
  • Support new client onboarding and Business Technology Assessments for prospects.
  • Provide occasional pre-sales support alongside the sales team.
  • Escalate and resolve client issues (service, billing, vendor) by coordinating with internal teams.
