About The Position

Uprite is seeking a Technical Account Manager to own the day-to-day success of a defined book of client accounts. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on understanding clients’ technology environments and keeping technology aligned with their business needs. The position combines technical knowledge of infrastructure and security with the ability to communicate recommendations and plans to business owners and leadership teams.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in an MSP or IT services environment, with hands-on technical grounding.
Experience owning client or account relationships, running meetings, managing expectations, and communicating credibly when issues arise.
Comfort discussing budgets, risk, and priorities with business owners and leadership.
Sales ability to identify opportunities, build proposals, and close them, or eagerness to develop these skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice To Haves

Prior sales engineering experience.
A track record of growing revenue within an existing account base.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of Uprite clients.
Run recurring client meetings and Business Technology Reviews, translating information about client environments into plain-language recommendations.
Build and maintain technology roadmaps and budgets aligned with each client’s business goals.
Identify and propose solutions that reduce client risk and improve daily operations, then work with the project team to deliver them.
Own the sales pipeline for assigned accounts in ConnectWise Manage, from opportunity through close.
Support new client onboarding, Business Technology Assessments for prospects, and occasional pre-sales work alongside the sales team.
Escalate and resolve client service, billing, or vendor issues by coordinating with appropriate Uprite staff.
