Technical Account Analyst, Logistics

Altana•Brooklyn, NY
•Onsite

About The Position

Altana is seeking a motivated Technical Account Analyst to support Technical Account Managers (TAMs) in delivering successful outcomes for logistics customers. The analyst will support day-to-day customer work, including preparing materials, tracking deliverables, and conducting analysis to help TAMs make informed, data-driven decisions. This is an entry point into account management and customer success, offering experience in customer operations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The role supports TAMs rather than owning end-to-end account relationships, and offers the opportunity to grow toward a Technical Account Manager role over time. The role is currently based in Brooklyn, New York, with a planned office relocation to Midtown Manhattan in Summer 2027. Candidates must live within commuting distance of both the current and future office locations.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in account management, customer success, operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across several accounts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize data into clear, digestible takeaways for TAMs and customers.
  • Proactive collaborator who seeks feedback and takes direction well from more senior team members.
  • Good judgment, a strong work ethic, and willingness to dig into details.
  • Must be within commuting distance of the current Brooklyn office and planned Midtown Manhattan office.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to the logistics industry.
  • Eagerness to learn the fundamentals of data fusion and machine learning and grow into communicating product value to technical and commercial audiences.
  • Interest in growing into a Technical Account Manager role over time.

Responsibilities

  • Support TAMs across large logistics service provider accounts by managing specific workstreams and deliverables.
  • Help execute onboarding tasks for new users, including scheduling training and tracking adoption milestones.
  • Analyze customer usage data to help TAMs identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare materials for customer calls and Quarterly Business Reviews, including gathering data and drafting talking points for TAM review.
  • Coordinate with product and implementation engineering teams to track customer deliverables and flag blockers.
  • Handle day-to-day tasks for a subset of accounts under TAM guidance, including check-ins, follow-ups, and documentation.
  • Capture and organize customer feedback and route it to the appropriate TAM or product team member.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Altana's platform and product capabilities to support customer-facing conversations alongside a TAM.

Benefits

  • Flexible Time Off (FTO).
  • Paid parental leave: 14 weeks for non-birthing, adoptive, and foster parents and up to 26 weeks for birthing parents, paid at 100% of base salary.

  • Pet insurance and access to a Total Pet veterinary service and telehealth discount plan.
