As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Writer to join our growing team.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or a related field
Familiarity with Section 508 standards, WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines, and VPAT/ACRdocumentation
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory information into clear, accessiblelanguage
Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, legal/compliance)
Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Confluence, Google Docs, Microsoft Office)

Nice To Haves

Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, axe, WAVE)
Familiarity with ITI VPAT templates and federal procurement accessibility requirements (Section 508, EN 301 549)
Background in UX writing or content design with an accessibility focus
Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS) is a plus
Experience in government, higher education, or regulated industries

Responsibilities

Write, edit, and maintain accessibility documentation, including Voluntary ProductAccessibility Templates (VPATs) and Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs)
Translate WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 technical standards into clear guidance fordevelopers, designers, and content creators
Document accessibility remediation processes, testing procedures, and known issues
Create and update accessibility style guides, checklists, and best-practice references
Collaborate with accessibility testers and engineers to accurately capture compliancestatus and remediation timelines
Review existing product documentation, help content, and UI copy for accessibilityand plain-language compliance
Maintain a repository of accessibility documentation and ensure version control
Support responses to accessibility audits, procurement requests, and complianceinquiries
Stay current on updates to Section 508, WCAG, and related federal accessibilityregulations
