Requirements

Pass drug screen
High school diploma or equivalency
Pass pre-employment tests
Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner
Ability to work flexible hours
Must be able to work all days of shut down period
Manufacturing-related experience is required

Responsibilities

Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures
Regular/dependable attendance required
Flexibility to work hours across all shifts and including overtime to support business needs
Able to work with and around moving equipment
Set up and operate all machinery and position in the department
Set up and run parts within quality specifications
Read instructions, gauges, and measure accurately
Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment/machines in a timely manner
Train operators on safe operation of related equipment
Ability to move to different lines and areas
Monitor equipment for abnormalities, needed improvements, or imminent repairs
Communicate equipment status to the maintenance/production team on a regular basis
Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance requirements are completed timely and thoroughly
Upkeep and cleanliness of all equipment, hand tools, and shadow boards
Identify basic equipment wear parts
Ability to rotate to other positions as needed
Act as a back-up operator when needed
Other duties may be assigned
Work on MDI and CI projects as assigned
