About The Position

The IT Tech Support & Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to end users while ensuring the organization maintains compliance with applicable IT standards, regulations, and internal policies. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting with documentation, auditing, and process improvement to support a secure and efficient IT environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and business systems
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, systems integration, and cybersecurity
  • Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • High attention to detail, especially with documentation and compliance tasks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and access control

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot problems, and resolve in a timely manner
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Support Microsoft 365, email systems, and business applications
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding employees (account setup, access control, equipment provisioning)
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Support IT compliance initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining and updating IT policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Participate in internal and external audits by gathering evidence and responding to requests
  • Monitor user access and permissions to ensure proper controls are in place
  • Help enforce cybersecurity best practices, including password policies, MFA, and endpoint protection
  • Track and remediate compliance gaps or vulnerabilities
  • Identify recurring technical issues and recommend long-term solutions
  • Assist in system updates, patching, and maintenance schedules
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and documentation
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts
