Tech Ridge Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Tech Ridge Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes customer service and transaction duties, merchandise preparation and presentation, store recovery and cleanliness, and participation in safety and shrink-reduction programs. Associates are expected to contribute to a positive store culture and respond appropriately to feedback and changing situations.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience and model established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
