Requirements
- Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
- Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement tools.
- Background in automation, digital transformation, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple Build Eng projects and programs simultaneously from concept through implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Track project schedules, risks, action items, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate regular program reviews and status meetings with stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Support automation, digital transformation, and technology deployment initiatives.
- Develop business cases, project proposals, and executive-level presentations.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership teams on strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Monitor project budgets, resource requirements, and return-on-investment opportunities.
- Ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and priorities.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to leadership teams.
