About The Position

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Tech Operations Engineer II to join their team in Dallas, TX. This role involves collecting, utilizing, and managing environmental data to ensure facility operational compliance. The engineer will develop and maintain data with associated analytics, and work directly with facility management and staff to implement programs for data gathering and submission within operational and permit compliance limits. The position requires utilizing tools, templates, and internal data programming for environmental monitoring, leading inspections and compliance audits, and analyzing vendor-gathered data to provide timely feedback. A key responsibility includes validating large or complex operational changes regarding performance and compliance. Domestic travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological or Physical Science, or a related field.
  • Four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Four years of experience serving as an environmental technical resource, program specialist, or program manager.
  • Four years of experience working with regulatory compliance topics including air emissions evaluations, water quality or discharge requirements and waste management.
  • Four years of experience working with environmental regulations.
  • Four years of experience working with operational or industrial facilities.
