About The Position
The Tech Monitor is responsible for monitoring and recognizing continuous electrocardiographic telemetry. The role is with Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed hospital in the Valley Health System, which provides a range of emergency, maternity, pediatric, cardiovascular, surgical, women’s health, and oncology services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department.
- Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course.
- Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or service appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit or department.
